History of MTM Series

The Mind To Matter or MTM Series is a collection of Counterparty ($XCP) tokens from 2016 which consist of possibly the first ever examples of true music ownership - music NFTs. The tokens were released on Jan 6th 2016 in order to offer tokenized ownership of Adam’s EP - A Little Color.

Meet Adam B. Levine

Adam was the creator of the MTM tokens and experimented early on with the Counterparty blockchain. His efforts from 2014-2016 may be some of the first examples of Music Access NFTs - MANFTs.

The Beginning - Sept. 2014

What is TCV? Token Controlled Viewpoint (TCV) is an application of TCA to information content (forums, posts, comments, bonus content, bloopers, walkthroughs, tips, tweets, supplemental blogs, RSS feeds or other data) on basic web pages.

Each piece of information, or block of information, is associated with a token(s) and quantity(s). If the quantity is zero, the information is viewable to users with or without accounts. Genesis of the Access Token

Adam applied the TCV concept to his website Let's Talk Bitcoin, which he was admin of until it was acquired in 2017.

The utility token of the platform was LTBCOIN and the more a user held in their wallet, the more content they could access on the LTB forum.

At one point the forum had over 4,000 daily active users and was the only platform using Counterparty tokens in this way.

Adam was also a founding member of Tokenly, an integral component to the early distribution of Spells of Genesis cards. EverDreamSoft relied on the technology throughout its entire distribution period from 2015-2017.

Swapbots was a feature of Tokenly and facilitated the transfer of two or more assets between two parties.

Tatianacoin + Dogeparty

Adam was a co-founder of Dogeparty and is responsible for some of the earliest assets on the chain. https://dogeparty.xchain.io​

With the help of Adam in 2014, Tatiana Moroz launched TATIANACOIN. It was sold to fund her album at the time - the token is an example of one of the very first 'Artist Coins'. https://www.tatianamoroz.com​

Fun fact: As an early contributor to Dogeparty, Adam is responsible for the creation of the first user asset on the chain, as well as the first asset with a description - issued August 13th, 2014.
